Hi, I’m Lilli — wife, mother of two, and the heart behind Haven.

When I became a mother, everything shifted for me. Like so many parents, I found myself carrying the constant desire to be fully present for my children while also feeling a deep pull to create something meaningful outside of motherhood. I spent time working from home, often feeling torn between the two — trying to balance work while longing to slow down and simply be with my babies in a more intentional way.

Eventually, I made the decision so many mothers quietly wrestle with: choosing between my career and being present for my children. And while stepping away from the traditional 9–5 gave me the gift of time with my family, I still felt a fire within me to create something meaningful for other families walking through the same season.

What began as a thoughtfully curated digital planner for mothers slowly evolved into something much bigger — a vision for a space I wished existed when I needed it most.

That vision became A Place to Gather.

Haven was created to be a calm, welcoming environment where parents and children can slow down, connect, create, and simply enjoy being together. Rooted in intentional play, creativity, sensory experiences, and community, our space is designed to feel inspiring, grounded, and warm for both little ones and the adults raising them.

With the support of my incredibly hardworking husband, who immediately jumped in to help bring this dream to life — we began creating a space that blends imaginative play, open-ended exploration, and meaningful connection within a soft indoor and outdoor environment.

More than anything, Haven was built from the belief that families shouldn’t always have to choose between productivity and presence, work and connection, or childhood and community.
